"Alle negatieve reviews stellen zich een beetje aan, is het hotel nieuw, nee. Is het hotel een 5 sterren ervaring, ook niet. Maar daar is de prijs ook naar, op een locatie vlak bij het trein station en het centrum! Het enigste nadeel was dat de kamer (en eigenlijk het hele gebouw) heel warm was. Verder alles netjes in orde!"

"The Ibis is well-situated if you need to catch a bus or train from the Union Square area, or if you’d like to go shopping at Union Square or Bon Accord; it’s also within walking distance to the University of Aberdeen. The Maritime Museum is literally across the street, as is bowling, pool, and a movie theatre if you have time! "The Highland Hotel (now merged with the Brentwood Hotel next door) is on Crown Street, less than ten minutes walk from Aberdeen bus and train station. It is just off Union Street which is the main central street in Aberdeen (the equivalent of Princes Street, Edinburgh - sort of!). We stayed for 3 days, breakfast included. The room, towels, and bed linen were spotless. But the whole hotel is 'tired'. There is no lift, but the reception man will carry up the cases for you. Usual tea and biscuits...
