"Our family spent last weekend at the Hyatt House San Diego/Sorrento Mesa and had a great time! The hotel is about 20 minutes from downtown San Diego in a quiet neighborhood. Plenty of parking - especially handicap parking! Very nice clean rooms with comfy beds, clean linen and plenty of towels. 2 of our rooms were small suites with a small kitchen/living room and balcony. This was perfect for our family to gather and catch up! All the staff from the front desk to housekeeping were friendly, helpful and professional. There was a very nice pool which, unfortunately our stay was not long enough to enjoy. The daily breakfast was included and amazing! So many yummy choices. We all commented that the green salsa was delicious! Over all we had an excellent stay and hope to be back again! Highly recommend!! Thanks Hyatt House!!"

"The hotel is really close to Legoland. A little bit outdated hotel, no elevator so if you stay on 2nd floor, be prepared to carry your luggages upstairs. "

"My family and I stayed here for the weekend and it was fantastic! The staff was very kind and informative. The hotel is clean and has nice amenities. We booked a 2 bedroom suite, which was perfect! My husband and I in one room and my mother-in-law in the other. Beds were comfy, there was a shower/toilet in each room with a nice kitchenette and little table to eat at. We did find a couple ants in our room, but we just killed them and were fine. Hotel is a little dated, some of the furniture is old- but I did see in a recent review that they are renovating/updating soon so that will be very nice. The breakfast each morning was delicious! The hotel is conveniently located to many stores and food locations as well as the freeway entrance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and look forward to staying again! Thanks Sonesta!"
