"We stayed here 2 nights. 1.5 stars is more realistic. At $70usd per night it is overpriced like most properties in Nuwara. We had problems with no tv channels (second night same problem but then a new sky box was put in and we had tv, why wasn't this done the first night?),leaking roof in bath area, room safe didn't work, curtain had a foul smell coming from it and the whole place felt grungy. The breakfast was mediocre at best. Do yourself a favour and pay extra to stay in one of the nicer...

"Lovely old bungalow. The butler service we had was exceptional. It’s cold at night so fires in rooms & hot water bottles in bed at night. Food really good. They don’t have a drink license so happy to serve your own. I just recommend you keep your gin in your room rather in their fridge. "

"Loved the decor of this place which was why we chose it . Didn’t disappoint. Really comfy bed with massive duvet to keep warm under. Loved having the separate lounge area as well. "Overall I am quite happy with my stay. Read about the water pressure problem in the reviews and was a little apprehensive at first. Turns out the water pressure was very good, at least in the 2 rooms my and my friend were staying in. Some room for improvement in the administration but I'm sure it will be better the next time I visit the hotel. I'll likely stay again when I come to the area again. "
