"We revisited this hotel as we had a comfortable stay in March and were warmly welcomed by all the staff then. This time was no different although the staff were busier but were just as helpful and its quieter position offroad is near a main bus route if you need it as we did. The breakfast choice is very good and the meals we had later were added to with a 'Specials Menu'. Plenty of space in the rooms we have stayed in and good Hospitality Tray and we slept well both times. We would stay...

"Great location for exploring Aldeburgh and the Suffolk coast. Very pleasant bar and restaurant areas. The Sea Spice Indian restaurant was particularly enjoyable. It’s an old building so there’s lots of stairs and at the time of writing the lift is out of service. The bedroom we occupied was small and comfortable for a short break, but the bathroom was a little dated. However, overall we felt it was good value and we would be happy to stay here again in the future."

"Enjoyed my stay at the Whitehorse hotel. The staff were really helpful and friendly. It would’ve been nice to have a mirror in my room, otherwise the room was satisfactory. I do think it would be good if the price of a breakfast was included in the overall price rather than having to pay separately.I also think that overall it is a little bit on the expensive side, but I understand they have to make a living!"

"Stayed here for a family event with my extended family. The room was spotless if a little dated. The bathroom was also exceptionally clean and the shower worked well. It does need a little investment, the furniture and furnishings are tired. Breakfast was good if limited in choice. All the team were pleasant. If you're looking for a comfortable, unflashy stay this hotel perfect."

"Very helpful and friendly staff. Only 12 bedrooms and ours was up two flights of stairs with no lift. So with suitcases we found it quite difficult. Beautiful position on river Waveney, and I. The heart of town. Good Breakfast."
