We had a difficult time getting checked in, as there was no one there when we arrived and my US phone had a hard time connecting to the posted UK number. But the owner arrived soon and everything was great! The restaurant is very unique with lots of antiques, and the food was fabulous! Breakfast was made to order and fabulous!! I highly recommend!

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. The breakfast was delicious and I would definitely stay here again. Next time I will stay for longer!

The owners are perfect for their roles as hosts and cooks! They renovated this old building with plenty of history in the center on a quaint and charming village. She decorated it beautifully and the rooms are named after their own children and grandchildren. He is the friendly grillmaster who cooked us a huge and delicious English breakfast. They both were so helpful and cheerful in friendly conversation. They truly enjoy welcoming guests from around the world and opening their home to them....

Hotel located in the heart of old Lincoln. Short walk to Lincoln Cathedral. Food was good and the staff were friendly.

From check in to check out our stay was amazing. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Perfect location. Delicious breakfast. Would definitely stay again

Great location for the cathedral and castle, close to transportation. Very good breakfast with friendly staff.

I spent most of my time there sleeping but the food I did have was quite good if a little plain.

If you are looking for an inexpensive, comfortable place to stay, this is a good choice. I was in the neighborhood (visiting Tattershall castle) and this suited very well. The proprietors were very nice, the breakfast was GREAT, the bed comfortable. The furnishings were kind of dated but I expected that from previous reviews. The one sour note was that the rooms are, after all, attached to a pub, and I was there on a Saturday night... so I was getting serenaded with someone else's "Happy...

What a wonderful stay we had!! Thank you to Katelyn for your amazing and warm customer service from the moment we arrived to the moment we left! Her positive, friendly, kind, and encouraging personality made our family feel so welcome and cared for. And thank you to Felicity in the restaurant for being so kind and friendly to our family, especially our son Jeremiah! He thought you were the nicest lady he’s met! We appreciated getting to see you at breakfast and you made our morning so much...

Nice hotel. Bit off the beaten path but near a pretty decent pub for food and drink.

The place was cute, and the neighbor was very kind, he came out to talk to us when we were trying to figure out parking the first night. The drive isn’t big enough for any car larger than a Mini, but there’s ample space for parking on the curb. The only real downside was the amount of bugs within the property. Any corner that was looked at held spiders of considerable size. I don’t recommend this place to anyone who’s as sensitive to those things as I am. We sat on the back porch the first night...

awesome city - close to castle for great concert

Grayz Studio was perfect. I’d visited the tea room before, but never knew this lovely place was just upstairs. It was a lovely place to be, whether for wandering around Steep Hill, or for getting breakfast downstairs and staying in to work. Clean, sunny, well-appointed—and a giant welcome scone when I arrived! Thanks for a marvelous stay. 10/10 will stay again.

Excellent house, located in a quiet area but just 10 mins north of Lincoln city. House is spacious and well appointed. Large kitchen, dinning and living room area. Large garden and hot tub that'll hold 4 people comfortably, 6 at a squeeze. Really enjoyed my time as well as the other guests.
