"It’s a lovely little hotel. Nice restaurant, excellent staff and great value. Local scenery is stunning. Rooms large and very well appointed. Access to the village was by a steep and narrow road which might limit some vehicles."

"I liked the historic interest in the property it would a good idea to offer a printed brochure showing some of the history of the structure. We did not like the shower set up the nozzle kept drooping down so it was a real Nuisance trying to shower"

"The hotel is a bit out of town and very peaceful. Lovely view of the hills. Checkin was friendly and welcoming. Room was rather bland and slightly 1970s, but clean and well kept. Most importantly it was warm a comfortable and I got a good night’s sleep. The bar closed very early which was a shame as I’d arranged to meet a friend at 9pm but by then all was in darkness. I would have liked to try the £10 breakfast but had already arranged to eat elsewhere. All in all, a good value stay in a...
