"After two days of exhaustive work reenacting at krigsflygfält 16 and Karlstad, it was such a relief getting to be at a quiet, one person room over the night. It was clean and had many amenities. The staff, rooms and service was very comforting."

"Sockerslottet is such a gem! Found this a bit by accident when I needed a place to stay during a work trip. I'm so happy that I did! I had a very nice welcoming, the room was both spacious, well-decorated and perfectly clean. I especially loved the "little extra", freshly baked cookies and coffee machine in the lobby. "Watch out! This place was unclean, worn down, in need of electric repairs and had a stinking refrigerator. We could not stay there so had to find another place to sleep. I have never seen anything near as bad being offered as lodging, in Europe or elsewhere."
