Very well situated in the old town, nice balcony looking over a small park, very friendly staff and tasty breakfast :)

The hotel is situated in an idyllic quiet surrounding of Mariastein. The hotel room was spacious and clean and quiet. No noise from outside. The service of the staff is amazing. They go above and beyond. Breakfast is amazing with fresh products (bread, cheese, cold cuts, cereal, milk, eggs).

Clean, quiet, excellent breakfast, no problem parking. Only problem was did not have code for initial entry. Another client let us in until we got our card.

The check in person, Melanie I think, was tremendous. She was so kind and so helpful.

breakfast was truly delightful, staff was friendly, and location was peaceful

We really enjoyed Hotel Kuentz! Clean cute room, food was great, lots of parking, staff was super!

We scheduled an extra day to spend some time in the area. We were able to use the free local bus system that stopped right across the street from the hotel.

Clean room, nothing luxury. Breakfast was very good. Staff was very friendly,

Very close to the metro that was very convenient for traveling all over Basel

Very friendly staff, clean room, good instruction, beautiful location.

The receptionist gave us good instructions on how to use the free transit pass to get back to the hotel after we returned our rental car at the airport, which saved us a taxi fare. The receptionist also recommended a good Swiss restaurant within a 10 minutes walk for dinner, and gave us good directions on using the free transit pass to visit the Basel zoo. The receptionist also arranged our taxi to the...

Good, clean hotel near Basel. Kind staff

This place is in a great location. Few steps and you’re in the heart of Basel. Saturdays in the park across the street is a market where you can find amazing antiques and other great finds. Staff are friendly and even loaned me a plugin adapter as mine for some reason didn’t work here. You’ll also get a pass to take the trams for free around the city! The only two caveats to mention is this is right next to the Basel University, so the rooms in the alley side can be a bit busy and loud later in...

This is a surprisingly nice hotel in a great location. We travelled with another couple and their room was the standard size for European accommodations. However, our room on the top floor was larger with a very cool sky light window. Nevertheless, both rooms were very clean and modern. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel WiFi was flawless and there were multiple built in USB charging stations in each room. One of the best things about the hotel is the location. It is...
