"It took us a few winding roads to get to Hotel Helianthe, but it was well worth it. The staff were so friendly and accommodating! The rooms, while not huge, accompanied a nice sized bathroom. All accommodations were very clean. The Hotel was walkable to the many sites of Lourdes. The breakfast in the morning had many options at their self serve buffet. I would highly recommend Hotel Helianthe and their staff!!"

"I would highly recommend Hotel St. Rose, Lourdes. Excellent staff who made me feel very welcome and upgraded me to a beautifully decorated room with a balcony. Valerie in particular was just wonderful. The hotel is a 2 minute walk to the Sanctuary. You can be sure of a warm welcome at the St. Rose 🌹 "

"Overall the experience was great. Walking distance to any of the restaurants, an outdoor store in case you forgot anything and a supermarket. The parking is not at the hotel itself as there are two lots (one north and one south) but you can park in front,check in, drop off your luggage then go park the car. You need to ask for the remote to the air conditioner. My only complaint for the stay is that I wish it had a mini fridge because if I want something cold for an early hike nothing opens...

"We really wanted to like this place - it’s a gorgeous, old stone chalet with great photos. Unfortunately, we were met by an unpleasant man who led us to a very small room that had a horrific smell. We tried to air the place out but it didn’t fix the problem. We asked about the smell, assuming that we be moved to a different room, but the man was irritated at our request and gave us a bottle of pine cleaner to pour down the sink drain...and that didn’t fix it. Also, we were bit by some unseen...
