"Nice hotel - check in was very efficient, including parking my car. The room is nicely appointed with plenty of electric sockets (in sensible places like by the bed for charging phone overnight), nice selection of TV channels on the TV. Nice clean room, I especially liked the vegan friendly toiletries which is a nice touch and the sustainability aspects. "

"Liked parking. Disliked everything else. We booked Roosevelt but it looked closed. By accident we found it was now an annex of a hotel up the road. Whole thing was a shambles. We only stayed as we had been soaked by the weather"

"Absolutely fantastic value for money. This is a £300 plus room per night. Lovely staff, beautiful location, property with great food and drinks. The rooms were like new and the standard of decor is top draw. This was a complete and very pleasant surprise at the end of a mini euro tour. "

"This hotel is cheap and a little run down and the lift was repeatedly out of order. Our room to the rear of the hotel had a nice view of the 'mountain' and cable car. It was also quiet."

"This was our 3rd stay in 2 years, each time in a garden room. The terrace is so lovely to have in addition to the room. We asked for a 'more comfy' chair and we were given one which benefitted my wife immensely. The staff are always very helpful and friendly. 1 improvement would be a shower mat as the shower floor tiles are very slippery. On our last 2 visits we have bought a shower mat in a lical shop."

Room was clean and a good size, I would just say lacking some facilities - for example some additional electrical charging points by the bed for charging mobile, a light switch on both side of the bed. "The one word that accurately sums up this place is "disappointing". The pictures were obviously taken with lighting that hid or obscured the poor condition the walls and parts of the house were in. The shower was so tiny that I had to use it hunched over almost 90 degrees. There were multiple sockets that were closed off with just duct tape, and the kitchen was in serious need of repainting.
