The room was comfortable - had a desk and desk chair - has a safe - hair dryer and towel warmer - note NO AC - but we were fortunate the weather wasn’t terribly hot - we opened the windows. With the exception of traveling suitcases on the pavement outdoors it was fairly quiet after 11:00. "This is an old property but had charm. Wonderful on site dinning, had the best pasta there. The breakfast was good, a lot to pick from. The dinning room and bar had seating overlooking the water. There was a lift to take you from the main floor to your room. Lots of antiques to look at on each floor. "

The hotel was conveniently located within about a 5 minute walk from the Celerina Staz train station and an 8-10 minute downhill walk from the Celerina main station. Very friendly and helpful staff. "Lovely quaint setting - extremely comfortable- not far from the train station. They stored our bags since we arrived before check in time - It was very quiet and the bathroom was updated - plenty of plugs - had a nice deep tub with a handheld shower. The breakfast buffet that was included was AMAZING!! There were plenty of tables - food choices and coffee options as well as Prosecco with various juices. Chur is a lovely little town - we felt very welcome and now back on the train to Zermatt !!"

A night in Chur
"What are the things most people ask …. The room was comfortable - had a desk and desk chair - has a safe - hair dryer and towel warmer - note NO AC - but we were fortunate the weather wasn’t terribly hot - we opened the windows. With the exception of traveling suitcases on the pavement outdoors it was fairly quiet after 11:00. The breakfast buffet is a traditional Swiss buffet of slices meats, cheeses, boiled eggs and lots of breads croissants etc. plenty of coffee and juices. I should add they also provide a converter at the desk which is nice - they have a kitchen with a refrigerator but there is a sign that use of the stove or oven is not permitted by law….."
