"Very nice hotel. Clean, modern, good mattress and very nice room.
Great b’fast, and the gentlemen every morning in the breakfast room was a joy! Happy, friendly, helpful.
We will stay there again next year."

Having just arrived from a terrible hotel experience in Paris as part of an extended vacation, checking in to Hotel Metropol was a breath of fresh air. All of the staff was friendly, hospitable, and very helpful but the gentlemen who works the front desk in the afternoon was exceptional!! He provided me with local recommendations of where to go and a map of how to get there, clear and useful instructions for how the hotel works, and his energy and spirit were just so welcoming. Hotel is centrally located to most everything in downtown Munich. The staff is very nice and helpful. Breakfast is very good. The only complaint is that some rooms will require one to lift suitcases up steps. Will stay here again.

Hotel was in fabulous location just off Marienplatz. It was cute, had little pastries on check in. The breakfast was good and had a nice breakfast room. Perfect base to explore central Munich and super close to U and S bahn stop. Sad I only stayed one night. Would definitely stay longer in the future.

Great hotel, rooms so nice. Roof top bar was great and view was unbelievable. Service outstanding, didn’t hesitate to hold our bags or accommodate early check-in for tired travelers. We are a family with 3 kids and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Very walkable area.

We were unfamiliar with the Westend area, but really liked the neighborhood of this hotel. We chose this hotel because of the area, price and Trip Advisor reviews. We had no complaints with this hotel (other than the fact that it does not have air conditioning, which might be a factor in warmer weather). That being said, we also didn't think there was anything particularly outstanding about the hotel that would separate it from other hotels. But the staff was very helpful and accommodating and...

Simply perfect. I'm gonna say best value for any hotel. Love the room design themed on a painter. Everything was brand new, super clean and 100% working. Front desk people are funny and delightful.
The location is great if you want to explore the old town. The direct neighborhood around the station is a little funky but it's diverse and fun.

Very nice place to stay in Munich. Centrally located for public transportation and in a safe area. The highlight is the breakfast spread — make sure you take advantage of what they offer for a good start to your day. Wonderful people taking care of you, especially Avni. He and his co-workers are the best and want to see that you are happy with everything. No need to go anywhere else for breakfast!

I booked close to the train station and this was a very easy walk (0.2 miles). I wanted to add another night and couldn't through expedia without having to change rooms. Since they let me check in early, they were able to juggle other guest accommodations so I could keep my same room for the second night. I paid the hotel direct, which was actually cheaper than expedia and included breakfast (which was quite nice). Five Stars for service and facility.

We picked the end of September to stay at the hotel. Since the hotel does not have air conditioning we were concerned, but at the end of September, the weather was perfect! The room was really cool and they provided a fan before we checked in. Could not have asked for a better hotel. The next night we stayed at a 5 star and Hotel Splendid Dollman was just as good as the 5 star. Would highly recommend. We did stay in the Junior Suite and it was perfect. Clean and beautiful room. The breakfast was definitely the highlight of the stay. The breakfast room is beautiful and the spread is amazing - even for vegetarians. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. The room was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. Plus, the walk to old town was easy and beautiful.
