"Lia at the front desk saved the trip honestly. A lot of the trails by Big Bear Lake are closed until early September, but Lia provided a list of trails, guides, restaurant recommendations. We ended up doing the kayaking excursion with (I think Caitlyn was her name) and hiked 2 of the trails recommended. The pool was a good temp, the kayaking was fun and informative. Nice shower. The upgrade to the balcony with the view of the lake is worth it. Yummy restaurant at this hotel too! We also walked...

"Lagonita Lodge is a great vacation destination. The staff in particular is very friendly and welcoming. It feels like coming home to great friends. We enjoyed the welcome wine and cheese and met some great people. What a wonderful experience. The lake cruise was wonderful and so much fun. We will be back. "

"A beautiful place to stay while in Big Bear. It’s close enough to the Village and Big Bear Laje. The staff and hotel are great and make sure you have all you need. The only inconvenience was all the construction going on around the property but they don’t have control of when the city places those into action. "
