"Hotel Villa Ambrosina is up a steep hill with Commanding views of the Tuscan countryside from the top, it was a 15 minute drive from Florence and we parked in a big car park just inside the city walls which was great. The hotel is slightly dated, reception were helpful and there is a separate restaurant on site, the road to the hotel is narrow but there is a better alternative route!"

"The drive up the mountain to Volterra was stunning. Then we arrived and parked in a nearby car park long enough to move our luggage to the hotel. The staff was very helpful showing us where to move the car to park for free. The entrance to the hotel is right in the middle of the historic town. So many shops and restaurants to explore. "Absolutely Updated rooms and property in general. Air conditioning didn't work well, in fact, the air was almost hot. Lots of mosquitos. It was really hard to sleep... The property is clean. Go somewhere else. "
