"No power in room for over 2 hours and doors to main area locked and even though i emailed continously, no one came to fix. Had a large event second day that we were not informed of so felt very trapped by the over 100 people who took over the place for many hours. Hot tub is a tub with jets but has no heater. You need car if you want to do anything as taxis impossible to get and everything is far. Restaurant was closed on day we arrived so we had to order in. We were not informed of when it was to reopen likely because of the large event that we were not informed of. We left in the middle of our stay( mothers day) as we were very upset. We called hotels.com first and even they couldnt get in contact with the hosts. "

"This house was perfect for 2 couples! The beds were super comfortable, and there were extra blankets/pillows. Bathrooms were roomy. The kitchen was super cute & the table opened up larger (which was great for playing games). The outside garden area was very spacious with little areas for sitting, and beautiful flowers and plants. The home was in a great location - easy walk to fabulous wineries (Le Fonti, Pelagio, restaurants, a wine bar, Gelateria, Dario's Butcher Shop, and market. Would highly recommend this Casa!"

"This property was magical. We booked it as a post-wedding place for our extended family. We had 9 adults and 3 children. There was something for everyone! The heated pool was pristine. It was relaxing soaking up the Tuscan sun, the gentle breeze and the breathtaking view of the vineyards in the the distance. The beds were hotel quality, the towels plush and plentiful. Each room was perfectly clean and comfortable. Plenty of closet space and private baths in every room.We asked for dinner in the villa both nights and it was terrific. The first night was a Tuscan dinner with homemade pasta! The second night we had a pizza chef give a class using their centuries-old pizza oven. Everyone loved it and it was DELICIOUS!They even arranged for massages in the front garden for the bride and groom. After a long week of activity, it was much needed and appreciated.The ability to make our own coffee each morning was nice. The kitchen had everything. We had a full breakfast one morning and pastries and fruit the next. Everyone found something they loved. So yummy!Our hosts (Cate and her family) were responsive, friendly and soooo helpful. They even showed up with gifts for the kids as well as water-wings for the pool. They were exceptional.We arrived as guests, we left as friends. We will be back!"

Warm, attentive and never intrusive, they were always there when needed (which was rare), ensuring everything went seamlessly.We left with full hearts, lasting memories, and one shared hope: to return as soon as possible. "Francesca and Thomas went out of their way to make us feel welcome! Even called for dinner delivery at a local restaurant on Monday evening. The restaurant is closed on Monday but the delivery was delicious! Dinner on our patio was a treasure! The food at the restaurant was so delicious, authentic Italian at its best!! Lots of choices for each course! Wait staff were so warm and friendly! The bar was great as well with lots of offerings at great prices! The grounds are immaculate and truly stunning. Our apartment was so cozy and cute and our view was unbelievably beautiful! The pool was refreshing and sparkling clean. The breakfast was really good but each morning the eggs and bacon were served cold even though they were in a chafing dish, just no heat source, really only improvement needed though. We did not have a car during our stay so we did not venture out but we really enjoyed our relaxing stay! Taxi service to/from Florence is easily achieved. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!"

"Beautiful property in the beautiful Tuscan region, food was great as was the staff but I do think it important to note that there is no 24hr airport shuttle transportation as listed in the property details. Rather it is a private service that can be arranged through reception based on driver availability and for a pretty steep cost (approximately $200 is US dollars). Be sure to consider this when booking or rent a car!"
