There are a couple of good restaurants and a supermarket within a 5-minute walk, and the beaches of Pointe d'Esny and Blue Bay (best snorkelling on the island) are a 5-10 drive away. "Only stayed for one night as we were travelling around the island. It was exactly as described and as I expected. Convenient location to the airport, blue bay and Mahebourg. Ideally you would need a car to get out of the resort and explore. Hotel has everything you need though. Big shopping centre 5 min drive away. "
