"Truro is a lively town with lots to do. Mannings is centrally located with a decent sized, private secure car park. The room was a bit tired to be honest though. Bathroom needs updating and the carpets are old. The bed was a big problem. It was so old the mattress sunk in the middle which meant my feet were the highest point of my body lying down. For such a lovely hotel reception and bar/restaurant area the bedroom was nowhere near the same standard. Shame. Be aware, although breakfast is...

"This is a small regional hotel in the middle of Cornwall. It is close to the center of Bodmin with a restaurant on site - reservation only for dinner -- and a solid English breakfast in the morning. A good place for walkers and bikers making use of regional trails. "

"Cosy room but comfortable and with a sea view. Shower a bit on the tight side if you’re bigger than average but did have a grab-rail. House-keeping was excellent and the quality of the sausage and bacon used in the cooked breakfast was a pleasant surprise. "

"Very good value for money in an excellent location close to the waterfront in Falmouth. Breakfast was excellent. The only downside was that it gets noisy with banging doors, people walking in rooms above and housekeeping leaving room doors open with radios blaring whilst they're cleaning the rooms."

"The Griffin is very central. Outside seating area is great to sit and watch the world go by. Serves food which is nice. My twin room was clean. Beds comfortable. Can be noisy I expect if your room is at the front. I was lucky. It was quiet because of the windy weather. My car was splattered with gull poo, but it's a sea side resort so gulls are are part of the experience. "
