"The view from our superior room was amazing, looking over the Menai straits and the pier.
Breakfast was very disappointing. Ours had been kept warm and was very dry.
The stairs were an issue. You couldn't avoid them to access the building. I had indicated issues with mobility when i booked but the hotel only sent info about them the day before after free cancellation was impossible.
The Indian meal was satisfactory.
The waitress was very helpful although with limited English."
"The Slate was a beautiful B&B, the room was very comfortable. Bed was really comfy, quilt and pillows just perfect. Towels were so soft and fluffy, The food was lovely and the staff very helpful. Shout out for Rachel and Ashton, absolute gems and the proprietor should recognise the staff for their fab customer service.
Parking was great and the ease of check in and check out couldn't have been any easier."
"Really nice guest house. The owners are prepared and ready to help. The room is clean with nice comfortable bed. Good location close to water, town center, and pub/restaurant next door. Overall a wonderful stay."

"I feel quite sad for this B&B. the hosts are excellent and the establishment is also very good. The evening meal was tasty. Everything in the control of the hosts is done perfectly well.
However, the local water infrastructure appears to be having problems at present in Holyhead, since the very dry Summer and there was no cold water on the last morning. Must be a nightmare for the hosts. I hope the local water company sort this out quickly or it could damage the Holyhead tourist industry."
"My husband, our pup and I had the pleasure of staying at the Seafront Inn for one night prior to departure on a Ferry. The inn is as described, nearby the town of Holyhead and a 15-20 min walk to the ferry terminal. While the rooms are quite small, we spent time in the shared lounge, which is quite comfortable, well equipped with snacks and beverages and a large TV as well as puzzles and games for entertainment. "Breakfast was good. Nothing else was. Not recommended. Our room was directly above the bar with a live band, which meant room shaked and vibrated. Continued until after 11pm to be replaced with loud music until midnight. When asking the staff what time it would finish, the manager intervened into an amicable conversation and proceeded to be aggressive, confrontational and abusive towards to me. This included calling me an offensive term multiple times. And suggesting to his staff that they...
"Stayed 2 nights, friday night was fine. However saturday night was horrendous. Music was blaring out until 7:35am Sunday morning. Rooms seem to be above the pool room where there was multiple people talking thoughout the night. Wont be staying here again."
