"Lovely hotel right in the high street. Quirky, old and well maintained. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice on the menu. Would recommend if staying in the area."

"The hotel was clean, the room was modern and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely. However, we were unable to use the pool because the pump had broken that day. Given that the pool was the reason why we chose that hotel this was disappointing. That said, when I raised the issue with management, they were polite and offered a reasonable partial refund, so very positive. My main area of complaint however, is that check in was not until 4pm and check out was at 11am. Why should it take 5 hours to clean a room? This wasn't mentioned prior to booking, neither was an additional charge for use of the car park. Cost for 3 rooms for one night was in excess of £500. I would have expected the car parking to be free. "

"Excellent dog friendly hotel. Room had a massive king size bed and was to a high standard. Good coffee Maxine in the room and nice touches like.coins for the seaside slot machines. Dog bowl and dog rug. Toiletries were Elemis. Breakfast cooked and also cold buffet. Dogs even got cooked sausage. Bar area was good with draught beer. Excellent location near the pier. Definitely would stay there again if we were to revisit Llandudno. "

"Nice sized room with a sea view (room 10) and had everything we needed. Comfortable bed and despite being opposite the pier, the room was nice and quiet throughout the night. The shower was powerful enough and nice and hot. The breakfast was excellent - a great choice of Continental items and a nice hot breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful and service at breakfast was very quick. Would definitely stay here again."

"We stayed for 3 nights from Sunday to Wednesday over the May Bank holiday with our dog. We have stayed here before and we thoroughly enjoyed or stay every time. The hotel, rooms and communal areas are always spotless - the reception staff, bar staff and cleaning staff are very helpful and accommodating. I heard that the hotel was under new management (hence some renovations around the hotel) and was worried that it might lose its ‘old world charm’ and historical reminders around the hotel; I hope this doesn’t happen. Our only gripe was with breakfast on the first morning (Bank Holiday Monday). We had booked to have breakfast in the lounge where dogs are allowed at 9.15. We came down to find there was no room for us; we were allowed in the Llewelyn Suite where there was a table with a cloth on. The waitress brought us tea and toast - I had to go into the main restaurant to find a tray, milk (no jugs), sugar, butter etc. a waiter did help me and brought them in on a tray - by this time the tea and toast was cold! It was unusually busy and the staff did apologise. The two mornings after that, a table was set up with everything already on the table. Everything else was perfect!"
