"Good location, staff were helpful, good value for money, beds were comfy. Very bad smell in the entrance hall, windows in the rooms are not sealed properly so there is an awful lot of street noise, toilet in the room was quite smelly as though the floor hadn’t been washed in a while. It is a good budget option but it needs a good clean and a bit more maintenance."

"Amazing hotel great value for money and great location. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and so fresh. Can't wait to return."

"Hello, the room was a great size, thank you and no concern about the size. Things however I would like to pint out. The room only had one chair when this larger room could have easily accommodated one more chair AND a small table, easily placed along the window side (there’s room there to dance up a storm). Also we found the carpet well dated and dirty, didn’t trust what could have been living in there and so we were in our bathroom sandals the whole time. The carpet should be removed and wood...

"Leuk hotel in het centrum van Belfast met vriendelijk personeel."

"Clean very nice"

"All perfect, good staff, good environment, I would stay there next time."

"This was an okay stay, the upkeep of the hotel seems lacking, it looks way better in the photos than in person. The lift is down which makes getting to the 3rd floor extremely challenging."

"Great hotel, clean room, beds were comfortable, staff attentive and friendly. Location great for us."

"Well located right on the waterfront parking was easy and available spaces right outside. Room was clean and well appointed and breakfast was good."

"The Hot breakfast is offered to late to accommodate guest that start to travel early, 8 am. There was a continental breakfast offered at 7:30 am"

"As soon as we walked through the door, we knew we made the right choice. The restaurant/bar area was beautiful and cozy. The hotel staff was welcoming. Our room was nicely decorated, and the bay window view of the sea was gorgeous. I will stay at the Avoca any time that I return to Newcastle."

"The reception staff were lovely and very helpful. The staff in the bar serving afternoon food and drinks were slow and not very knowledgeable, also the snack choices were very limited. Rooms and bathrooms were clean. The swimming pool was very poor paint peeling, rust around units on the walls. The steam room and sauna not very inviting."

"Lovely modern apartment with all mod cons, great private parking and proximity to city centre."
