"The property was dirty with rusted shower head, broken lights, dirty shower tray, cigarettes in the toilet, marks on wall, open roof hatch, broken door and marked bedding. The room smelt strongly of smoke and the windows were dirty. We did not stay and had to find alternative accommodation. The bed could not be used as it was so dirty and the shower unsafe. I have stayed in basic hotels before but this was dirty, smelly and unsafe."

"Helpful staff, gave us directions for late checking. Very clean. Decent breakfast. Good location. Disturbed sleep due to thin walls, frequently waking up to ppl making noise outside the room. Shower water was less warm in the evening though it worked fine in the morning. "

The rooms are very large and luxurious with a minimalist decor , comfy bed and luxury bedding. The breakfast is excellent with a wide range of options. The best way to get to hotel from bus / rail stn. is by taxi ,do not rely on google maps to walk to hotel. "The hotel is at the best possible location, directly at the Duomo square. As a budget hotel, it meets the typical Italian standards, the room is dated but clean, the bathroom was updated and modern but the shower was very small. There is no elevator but that suits me fine since elevators in buildings like these tend to be clunky, so I avoid them in any case. Breakfast was a voucher to get a hot drink and pastry at the best cafe in the square, which is my favorite way of doing breakfast in Italy,...

"The property was quite hard to find and in a quiet dark street which as a solo female traveller, felt a little uncomfortable. Once inside though, the room was fine for my needs if a little basic and the lady at breakfast was lovely "
