"Great hotel to stay at in La Fortuna. A beautiful view of the Volcano from the back patio. It’s a smaller hotel, with a few hot springs that we never spent any time in. This was a short trip. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Their breakfast was very tasty and they had ok iced lattes (they were just a bit watery). The dinner menu wasn’t super impressive, but most of the dinner menus we saw in Costa Rica are not. "

"This hotel has its good side and bad side. The good sides were that the hotel had breakfast and a amazing view of the city. The bad side was that there was no AC in the room and rooms and super small. If you open the balcony door at night, you will hear the street noises and the beds were uncomfortable. I would recommended staying there for one or two night. "

"We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Lodge! Not only was the view amazing from every angle including our balcony, but also the service was OUTSTANDING! Everyone was so kind. And the restaurant food was to die for!! Best filet mignon I've ever had - not kidding! Mr. Howard at the restaurant was also wonderful, as well as the waiters, including Enrique. What a lovely experience. We'll definitely be staying there when we visit CR again without a doubt!!"

"This is a simple and cute property in Monteverde, not far from the town (as long as you have a car). The staff is very friendly and helped us book all of our tours. The breakfast was also excellent. Our favorite part about the property were the animals we saw. Toucanets, hummingbirds, and lots of other small birds and mammals were roaming around - what a treat!"

"If anything, the name of this hotel ('pretty view') undersells it by a long shot! On a clear day you can see the sun rise over the volcano from your balcony and the view extends to the left over all of Lake Arenal. Stunning. "It’s a great value with best and unobstructed Arenal volcano view for sure. Saw lots of hummingbirds around the property. Basic breakfast but tasted really good. I would recommend this place for those who want to be close to nature."
