"Staff at the Hotel Madeira, where you have to check in or book any excursions, were exceptionally helpful. The Madeira Gems apartment I stayed in was excellent - very clean and had everything you need. It is across from a lovely park which had some music playing while I was there. The windows were very soundproof so it was not a disturbance at all. The location is also great. The construction going on next door wasn’t a bother at all. I would definitely stay there again."

"Front desk and cleaning staff were good to deal with and they did give us a welcome gift, which was nice, but the suite itself was a bit dirty when we arrived (stains on the carpet, dirt on the carpet, glassware looked dirty, stains on the bedding, etc.) — at least aesthetically— and the locations is quite loud. The locals festivities and World Cup fan zone watch events on the corner kept us up until the early AM so definitely bring earplugs or don’t come here at all if you can’t sleep with...

"Muy bueno, está cerca de todo !"

"This was a well-located budget hotel with some great restaurants and coffee shops within 3 mins walk, and the old town about 15 mins walk. Excellent reception staff and daily housekeeping. If the roof-top pool and deck was refurbished it could be quite stunning. Our only issue was the heat. The room was so hot from afternoon to around midnight it was hard to sleep. We were on the third floor which has a part-glazed roof (to the pool area) which makes the floor so hot. Same with the balcony doors...

"Great location and full kitchen"

"This apartment is worth every penny! The staff were so welcoming and helped when we couldn't figure out how to drive to the apartment. We were welcomed when we arrived and they were so nice. The location is ideal. You can walk to many restaurants nearby and it's right in the center of a pedestrain area. The apartment was clean and adorable. Staff were always available if you had any questions and were so helpful. Would 10/10 stay here again and would recommend it to anyone!"

"When we arrived the entire flat was toxic- it smelled of paint fumes.it was late on a Sunday so we opened all of the windows and assumed that perhaps something was painted earlier in the day. The next day we went out early and found that a painter had painted our door frame with oil based paints and painted the trim in the hallway of the flats and did not ventilate anything. We asked him to stop, wrote to the manager who said he would speak with management but each day of our stay was toxic with...

"The location and price were terrific however we ended up with an infestation of mosquitos we did not realize until the day we were leaving."

"In a great location opposite the cathedral (se). Room was a bit small. Good breakfast. Wi-fi o.k."

"Property is in a great location within walkable distance to all the main local attractions including the Mercado, Cable Car and Marina. There's also a great rooftop seating area which we found amazing to sit in an evening to view the mountainside villages. The only down side was because it's in such a great central location, it's very noisy. The supermarket opposite is open early until late and the current construction work directly opposite the property continued until 22.20pm with drilling...

"no blind shades on the room"
