"We only stayed in this hotel for 1 night so we could visit Matsumoto Castle and the location was perfect because the hotel was only a 5 mins walk from the castle. The room was clean and the bed and pillows were comfy. I would stay here again for sure. "

"MY ROOM WAS SMALL, BUT IT WAD OK FOR ONE NIGHT IN MATSUMOTO. EVERYTHING WAS MAINTAINED WELL BUT NEEDS UPDATE. STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL AND POLITE. BREAKFAST WAS MEDIOCRE BUT WE PAID VERY LOW RATE SO COULD NOT EXPECT GOURME FOOD. WE RECOMMENDED THIS HOTEL."

"Best thing in this hotel is sky spa - or onsen on 12th floor overlooking town and motorway! Very fascinating and relaxing watch, soaking on hot water after full day walking! Lawson and 7-eleven just outside the hotel, several dining options within 5min walk. Hotel itself is quite dated and feels old, but sky onsen and breakfast makes up for it. Stayed one night in May 2025. "

"It was within comfortable walking distance from INAKITA station. It was the only available closest hotel when i booked for a last minute trip here a few days before. I found a familiar restaurant, SUKIYA nearby where I had my delicious lunch. Happen to stumble upon a cosy McDonald’s when I was exploring the area near Ina park where the cherry blossoms were in full bloom! There is a direct bus to the Takato Castle Ruins at Inakita Station. "Japanese business hotels offer small, clean, affordable rooms. These are great for internationals who want to meet Japanese people. My sibling Americans sometimes complain about small rooms. Large rooms are available at luxury hotels, but you cannot find better service than the service you receive at business hotels. Dormy provides great quality at affordable rates. "

Close to train station

"The staff was friendly. I had a smoking room and asked to be changed to a non-smoking room. There were none available. They had room/fabric spray to help with the smoke smell, but it didn't help. I'm sure if I could have had a non-smoking room, I would have enjoyed my stay more. The hotel was close to the train station so it was loud during the day. It was no problem at night. It was convenient to do laundry at the hotel. "
