"Very clean and comfortable room. Modern and well maintained. Staff were very good.
The hotel is a bit far out of Oxford and the bus while convenient it took an average of 45 mins in and out of town.
There is no restaurant which is a problem given the location. What is on offer nearby in terms of food outlets was very poor.
The bar was inadequate and the bar menu very limited and not of a good quality."
"The room especially the bed was very dirty. There was nobody at reception whenever we came in, and if we needed something it was usually a 20 minute or longer wait. We ended up running around the building to find the reception staff."

"Recently refurbed, and perhaps not quite “in its swing” yet. Very poor checkin process - while there were many staff running around, we were left standing (feeling very much in the way) for a long time before anyone could be found to check us in. The room itself was nice but poorly laid out for 2 suitcases. Most seriously, it was boiling hot, and the window barely opened, leading to a miserable night’s sleep. We mentioned to staff but as far as we know to know impact. Roast dinner was OK. ...

"Friends told us that the Premier is considered to be mid-level lodging. Knowing that, we were not disappointed and would recommend the Premier in downtown Oxford. There is a limited staff, as employees are all multi-tasked. The room was comfortable and the temperature easy to control. It had a mini-fridge and a coffee maker, neither of which did we use. The bathroom was well-designed and the shower was hot and good.

"Stayed for 1 night; found a leaking shower so the floor was always wet; floors had not been swept/mopped before our arrival; noticed different items on floor/tops of furniture indicating it had not been cleaned well before our arrival. Room & bed is very small with uncomfortable bedding & pillows."
