"Perfect location in the town, everything on your door step. Lovely hotel, the room had everything that you could want and was furnished to a very high sta dard, as is the rest of the hotel. . The double bed in the classic room is enormous ! Staff were very friendly. A great stay "

"I was disappointed that the hotel charged for parking your car in their car park. For me no hotel should charge their guests a fee for parking. Also when I got a drink of coke from the bar it was served from a plastic coke bottle. The drink was flat. Although the rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean I found the hotel to be soulless and very matter of fact. "

"Centrally located so we were able to walk to many shops and restaurants as well as historic sites. Parking in the back made it easy to drive to other cities and sites. The staff was very accommodating and worked around our schedule for room maintenance."

"We really enjoyed our stay at The Stroud Hotel. The staff were welcoming on our arrival and we enjoyed an excellent meal and well prepared cocktails at lunchtime (I can highly recommend the risotto.) There was everything we needed except milk for the room but we were given fresh milk on request which, whilst lovely, wasn’t necessary as small cartons of UHT would have been fine for our short stay.
