The staff at this hotel were the most helpful staff I have experienced. If I had a question they were so quick to help answer the question. They went above and beyond the call of duty. They were always gracious, kind and patient. The location is wonderful if you want to be near nature, to enjoy a walk along the beach. The room was clean and tidy. The breakfast was very nice. I highly recommend this hotel.

I stay in Singapore often and have stayed in over 10 different hotels here ranging from $50 a night to $600 a night. Santa Grand in East Coast has become my favorite hotel hands down though. It's an excellent value and in an awesome location for enjoying a relaxing time and holiday. I used to prefer the hustle of the CBD but now I apreciate the chill factor and heritage of the East Coast area of Kalong. This hotel was fantastic! It is located in the very cute and quaint Old Singapore, in between the city and the airport. The airport bus passes close by and there are many places to eat in the surroundings. The staff was great; very friendly. We stayed at this hotel for a week. We liked the atmosphere in the hotel. Next to the hotel is a bus station, including for bus 36 which is a direct connection to the airport.
