Afon Crafnant Flooding in the Conwy valley is an ever-present risk, so the Afon Crafnant is constrained between high banks at this point. Footpaths run along all of the banks here, making an interesting circuit from the village. A mat of floating debris has been blown to one end of the field flooded by an overnight downpour.

"Fabulous hotel, perfect from check in to check out. Big thank you to the girls in the spa, the receptionist with the long curly hair and the 2 girls who did our massages who didn’t make us feel uncomfortable when we got a case of the severe giggles and couldn’t hold it together! This was a much needed break for me and my daughter after a lot of recent sadness and that memory will stay with us forever, so thank you ! It made our weekend. Main reception, bar and restaurant staff fabulous, room stunning, food and drinks excellent, was sad to check out and we will definitely return ❤️"
