"After a long day with car trouble, we unexpectedly ended up at this hotel because we couldn't drive any further. We were welcomed by Andreas and a colleague, and we couldn't have asked for a better welcome after our terrible day! Andreas arranged everything we wanted, and we were still able to get something to eat even though the kitchen was almost closing. "Overall understaffed. The food in the restaurant was not the best but good portions. Order-taking and service took long due to short staff. Walls were very thin and all of the doors closed with a large slam, making it very sleep-disruptive in the morning and night. The shower door of my room was broken. The reception staff was friendly and sincere but there is only so much one person can pull. Needs more staff. "

"Location: Excellent—right on the main square with plenty of restaurants nearby. Parking available at the back of the hotel. Room: We stayed in the main hotel (not the annex), which appears newly renovated. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a quirky bathroom window overlooking the main room. Dining: Breakfast was quite expensive, so we opted to eat elsewhere, though the on-site restaurant is well reviewed and popular. Notes: Great base for exploring Bastogne; would stay again for the location and comfort."
