"An older motel but still with some water views. Situated just a short 5min walk from town and not uphill. 2 pools which both looked nice although too cold to try at the time. Include breakfast is only very basic continental however other option available to purchase. Did not dine in the restaurant but menu looked okay. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. The blinds are the Venetian type and do not give any darkness once the sun is up. The shower did need a good clean with mould / scum...

"We stayed in unit 16b. The apartment was clean and the king size bed was awesome. The door locks on its own so make sure you take the key if you leave. We mentioned this to the caretaker as we had read it in reviews as well. She said she would have someone look at it. But why not have it fixed if it already had been mentioned more than once? "It is a retro motel, which I like. Simple & clean. Has everything I need. Central location on ocean side of Shute Harbour Road. Manager Richard was very accommodating. "

"Unit was great but could more utensils eg 2 teaspoons only. One bath towel per person is a little skimpy for 6 days. The balcony table legs were wobbly and one came off when trying to move it. Overall it is a great place just needs a few simple tweeks. "

"Beautiful views from the balcony! The place is a great concept, wish it were a little cleaner, we had to wear our shoes inside or we would have black feet in minutes from the dirty floor. And there was hair in the tub drain. It was nice to have laundry in room. The balcony door needs two people to slide open but once you’re out there, it’s a million dollar view! The person from icare never contacted us a single time, and I had to reach out for check out instructions at 7:30pm the night before...
