Such wonderful staff, a dedicated park out the back of hotel (that does cost an extra amount but hey it’s city centre and street floor) give me that rather than 5 or 6 on multi-storey parking. Rooms run down but fine for just for a night or 2 to access the Royal Hobart hospital. Lots of eating places near by as with chemist and supermarket. "

"Hotel Alabama was perfect for my one night stay in Hobart. Very helpful and friendly staff, a welcoming environment, and a comfortable room. Even though it was a shared bathroom it was very tidy and I never had to share the space with anyone. They provided glass jugs of water and cups in the hallway, and luggage storage all day. Ample closet space if you want to hang clothes, and even a little desk/vanity. I would definitely stay here again. Chocolates on the pillow were a nice touch too :) "

"Absolutely brilliant. The most peaceful place to stay with nature and wildlife right there on the doorstep. This is not a 5 star hotel with room service and in-house movies, this is a place to reconnect with your loved ones and the environment. No TV makes you talk to each other without any distractions. "Right next to Salamanca, above a great pub with free parking. Rooms are tired and basic but so am I. For the price, parking and convenience its worth it if your intent is just a base to operate out of/lay your head. Its pub accommodation, friendly, good value and does what it says on the box."

"This was a very peaceful location, with plenty of opportunity to see the local wildlife. The pod was well laid out with a spacious deck and comfortable seating. The access road to the units is single lane gravel, rutted and extremely steep, and should be noted as 4wd only. We had to back out all the way in our front wheel drive vehicle.
