"Nice basic room with plenty of room to move around and for an roll-away bed if you need it. The shower had plenty of hot water and water pressure. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was basic Parisian fare, croissants, baguettes yogurt, cereal, hot drinks, and juice. We appreciated the friendliness of the staff and the security of the building. If you are on the 5th floor the elevator does not go up to that floor. It wasn't a problem for us, though. Very close to the metro station, bus stop, pharmacy, grocery, and a wide variety of restaurants. We were quite happy with our choice and would recommend this hotel for budget minded travelers. "

"Excellent location (metro Republique), plenty of eateries nearby, short metro ride to all major tourist attractions and Gare du Nord if you want to also visit London, Brussels, or Amsterdam. Clean, air conditioning you can temperature control, very friendly staff"

"We loved the hotel and wanted an extra night. Unfortunately, they were booked with a group coming in the next day. Plan ahead next time and book the extra night! Parking was available below ground but was a bit tight getting in and getting out--be careful and be quick."

"Very comfortable room and beds. The ice from their ice machines is really, really good! The delicious crunchy kind. It was hot so we were refilling our cups with ice every couple hours. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel is very close to the Metro, it made the whole of Paris feel very accessible. "
