"The main concern is the stairs to go to main bed. Extremely dangerous. There is a sofa bed down stairs but is super uncomfortable. Body towels were smelly to cigarettes. And there was a mouse in the kitchen and spiders in the toilet. I ask the owner if I can cancel second night because it was too dangerous to go upstairs and even worst with a toddler. The solution he gave me was not to go upstairs and use the sofa to sleep. Told him about the smelly towels, and said that i was lying. Definitely not recommending this place. First time that I made bad review on a stay."

"The hotel was undergoing renovations during our stay, so the exterior was not very appealing. We stayed on the first floor, and unfortunately the view from our window was disappointing—it overlooked a lower rooftop that had visible garbage. That said, the room itself was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the lounge was decent. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel, but a key drawback—at least for our room—was the unpleasant window view."

"The Aparthotel is ideally located for some of Paris’s great attractions such as the Pompidou Centre, Notre Dame, and L’ouvre Musée. There are a multitude of bars, restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Our room was clean, comfortable and equipped with sustainable toiletries and a great shower. The kitchen had hob, microwave, dishwasher, crockery, cutlery and cleaning materials. We’ve stayed before and we’ll stay again."

"Good news: The location is across the street from a useful Metro stop and also a Monoprix which opens at 8am. (If you run out of toilet paper etc you are expected to buy your own & the Monoprix has a good patisserie counter which is substantially cheaper than the in-house breakfast. Even better is the boulangerie a short walk away at the corner of Rue St. Denis & Réamur). Not so good: Having travelled to over 50 countries I felt the 'hotel' was overpriced and was very disappointed by the response to our week-long to and fro regarding getting the a/c turned on. Each room appears to have a controller but it only works if the entire hotel a/c is turned on! Service response: There is usually one person on duty in the tiny entrance hall and the level of help varied from 'extremely helpful' to a surly "I'm busy, you'll need to come back tomorrow. Just open a window." You get one free room clean per week. XLNT towels, lots of hot water. Conclusion: This is not a hotel but a series of rental apartments. So, assuming it has a hotel-type response, is perhaps a mistake. Our room was clean and felt 'new' and had good dishwasher, hotplate and pans, crockery etc."

"Kind staff but the pumping and lack of AC really bugged me. In late April they still have the AC turned off so you have no control over the temp of your room. If you open the windows it’s extremely loud with the bars nearby. Also the toilet didn’t flush right. Lots of water came and went but paper and waste remains. I didn’t like having to look at it for a day until housekeeping came and somehow got it gone. Old building so the doors slam and it’s loud. They keep your key while you leave I really would have liked them to check ID not just have us say the room number to get keys each time. But it’s a safe neighborhood and controlled access so I would recommend it especially for solo travelers."
