"The room smelled of smoke, the cupboard door fell off when I opened it, the towels and face cloths were old, thin and barely white. The bathroom door had dark stains all along the edge, where people had held the door. The windows were dirty. I decided not to spend the night and checked out the same day. I did not use the room. "

"The Serenity guest house was perfect for our family of 5.The hosts were friendly and responsive. The home is as pictured in the listing and is very well maintained with some nice upgrades and the extra amenities were a pleasant surprise (coffee pods, filters etc in the kitchen and soaps and lots of towels in the bathroom and hangers in the closets). The beds were very comfortable with nice quality linens and the rooms each had a good sized closet. We were there for Christmas with family that live in the area. The house was centrally located to all the places we needed to go. The highway is easily accessible and there is lots of shopping near by (grocery, boutiques and big box, outlet mall) We didn’t use the outdoor area but it looked nice. We hope to stay again next year.Thank you A&P"

"It was great for our dog to have a nice fenced yard. It was clean however, the living room couches probably need to be replaced , they were hard between the cushions in multiple locations. And the description of it being 5 bedrooms was not accurate - there is a pullout sofa bed in a room to access the only bathroom downstairs. No adult can comfortably sleep on this bed.Also there were only 5 beach badges included. The house can sleep more than 5 , it was not expected that we had to pay for a daily badge given the cost of this rental. Lastly, the bathroom shower has no grab bar and has a taller than typical tub wall making it difficult to step over when entering the tub."
