"Outstanding. Our stay at the Hyatt was the best, staff went out of their way to help us with absolutely everything and make our stay special. The shuttle service was great and so helpful for us to fit in doing as much as possible. The room was perfect, we chose “Mountain View” and it was a great choice. The Uzumi spa was very clean and had everything we needed to relax and wind down. Kids were happy and enjoyed the games and books available in the drawing room. I highly recommend this hotel. "

"Some of my highlights of this stay were the view, the location, the food, and the service! Those components made for a wonderful stay in Hakone. However, I felt that the room and the hotel seem a bit outdated as a lot of the cabinets were chilling, and there was no air conditioning during our stay. The control panel seems to be broken as the dial didn’t work, but we were later informed that the hotel was running the heat during the time. Fortunately during our visit, Hakone was a bit cooler...

"We had a good time and felt we got value for your money. It was about a 20 min walk from the train station with some uphill. We only had small backpacks so it was manageable. If you have luggage, it might be better to take taxi. The hotel was a little dated but the onsen made up for that. Breakfast buffet was great and offered a good variety. "
