The included dinner and breakfast were amazing even for Japan standards (but the restaurant staff doesnt speak any English so have google translate ready... they were still friendly and did their best to understand). Its also quite far away from the station so be sure to use the free shuttle. We had the traditional room with tatami and futons which was neat, spacious and had a great view of the lake."

You can request a bed frame to elevate the futon, but it's better to request a bed when making the reservation (although you may enjoy sleeping on a futon, Japanese style)."

A five minute walk to gorgeous waterfalls and forest temple. And right on the trail to the Mt. Yoro hike. Spectacular. We cannot wait to come back. "
