"This hotel is in a fantastic location and has the bones and decor to create a wonderful experience. Sadly, the cold and stiff staff at reception brought the experience down quite a bit. The receptionist did the bare minimum and was generally uninterested in helping us when we asked about local sites and the city tour tram. In fact, they didn't even know the name of the city tour tram company or how to get tickets despite it being directly across from the hotel. In contrast, the young lady who served breakfast in the morning was quite nice. And proactively helpful. What made things worse was that the room was very noisy /wasn't soundproof. We heard all of the noise from the street all night. In addition as many have cited there is no AC for cold air. So if you come during spring summer, or fall, make sure you're OK with absolutely no AC because there's only a heater."

"The first room offered was dirty and run down. They gave me another room (double as opposed to the junior suite I purchased). The second room smelled strongly of bug spray. When I checked for traps I found sex toys under the furniture. I checked out and didn’t spend the night. Water on the floor in the lobby, overall a run down condotion."
