"This is a lovely old lady from the start of travel by train in the Victorian period. The main state rooms are remarkable and the situation of the hotel looking out over Buxton is wonderful. I stayed in one of the cheaper rooms, it was well appointed and everything was clean and comfortable. At the price it was very satisfactory, I can recommend it"

"A beautiful venue with great amenities, taken advantage of the gym and spa area as well as the bar. Great night sleep and perfect for proximity to a wedding i attended. Did have an issue with the key cards needing to be reset , but this was minor and didnt create any issue. Breakfast buffet was really top notch too. "

"Lovely hotel in the beautiful village of Alderley Edge. Easy to find, plently of parking and the staff were all very friendly and genuine. The room itself was well presented, very clean and comfortable. Useful amenities with plenty of tea bags, coffee milk etc with lovely biscuits. The restaurant was fantastic, good lighting comfy seats great atmosphere eith attentive and friendly staff. The food was very good, and the fish was the size of a shark!
