"One of the few hotels in Ghent that I saw and it is a lovely one. An interior atrium greets you upon arrival and Starbucks and dining options are in the main area. Breakfast is served in a separate room and there is a canal front terrace for drinks. My room had a pitched ceiling with large oak timbers and floors making it seem very European. Great bed and large screen tv. Gym with treadmills and weights. Walkable to historic sites, grocery shops and restaurants. Very safe feeling for this mature...

"The staff super nice and helpful. The train is just a couple of minutes walk away and takes you straight into town. The food and coffee were great. The esthetics of the hotel are on the older side but it was very clean so I did not mind. I think the only negative is the loop driving around to get to the hotel. The signs aren’t the greatest so you may miss it the first time. This is not the hotels fault though so nothing negative really to say about this place. "

"We were pleased to find we had been given the bridal suite with four poster, jacuzzi and oriental furnishings. "Location excellent as very near centre. Would have been good to know about the 6 flights of stairs in the property description. A number of minor issues which we notified straight away - to be fair we asked for nobody to fix them while we were there but I took photos on arrival so we wouldn't be accused of anything."
