"The staff, bar area and room were excellent. However the bed was the worst I have ever attempted to sleep on, at one point in the night I was convinced the floor maybe softer. I achieved about 2 hours of sleep on the mattress and woke up in pain. "

"Comfortable room with loads of space (club room). My only gripe was the breakfast, sort of half a full English with half of the hot stuff being luke warm. Otherwise the hotel is fab, staff are super helpful, rooms are nice and clean and beds are very comfy! "

"Great property. Nice views of the canals. Great spots to eat nearby. Very close to the tram which takes 30 mins to get into town. Only downside is I haven’t been able to get my £50 pounds bond deposit that I paid upon check-in, and I was told upon checkout that it would be refunded to my debit card within 1-2 working days. I have reached out 3 times via various channels, and no response yet. Hope to hear from them soon. "

"I had made an error in booking and the staff member, I can't remember her name, was really helpful. All the staff I encountered at breakfast and the front desk were really lovely and helpful. Rooms were very clean and the rain shower heads, made the early wake up so much easier."

"This small hotel is set in beautiful surroundings, walking distance to the village of Wrea Green and a short drive to Litham/St Anne's. Our stay was just perfect with lovely comfy beds and everything we needed in our room. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was immaculate. We didn't use the bar or restaurant but it looked very nice with lots of lovely outdoor seating for good weather. I can highly recommend the hotel "

"Nice hotel , 2 mins from town centre, 10 min walk to rugby ground. Staff very helpful and checked to see if our room was ready so we could check in early. Room was decent, comfy bed, tea coffee in the room. Car park free just had to input car details on tablet. There is a £50 surcharge at checkin for any breakages but that was regunded about 3 hours after check out. I would stay again"
