"We stayed here on two separate occasions. We found the desk staff very good and the rooms are clean and comfortable. We would like to see the hotel remove the small plastic cups of water in the room and replace with a filtered water fountain on each floor. Overall a good place to stay and very close to The Ministry of Crab. With regards to the restaurant, it is a tacky, bleak environment with awful food for breakfast. "Lovely location and we enjoying visiting this beautiful colonial beach hotel however we were charged twice for drinks consumed in the lobby and moved to the terrace area despite explaining to the staff at the time and showing my receipts. Be careful and double check your statements as they take your bank card and disappear with it. They don’t need a pin or a signature to take money out. Shocking! "

"Arrived late after a long day flying. Check in was as swift as it could be and we were soon in our room. Clean and cool with comfy beds, toiletries available, water, etc. what more could you need for a stay between flights? Breakfast was delicious, plenty to choose from. But oddly tea was not readily available though they brewed a pot when I asked. The staff are all so lovely and extremely helpful and friendly. "Our stay at Pegasus was excellent. Staff were amazing and helpful, amenities were excellent. The only area for improvement would be an upgrade to their coffee available for breakfast. Drop filter just doesn't cut it. "

"This historically significant property is an absolute gem of a boutique hotel in the midst of Colombo. The restaurant is also wonderful, Such a surprise as we found it randomly and had no idea that it was the former prime minister's house and that Charles and Camilla had stayed there. Our room next to the beautiful courtyard pool had a four poster and a private terrace and a huge gorgeous modern bathroom. It is an old house but the decor is v. cool! So much so that they have a chain of shops...
