A comfortable bed, quiet, refrigerator, safe and a nice walk in shower. Breakfast was delicious. The restaurant at the hotel was very nice for dinner. Inexpensive and really good food. I will stay here again "

If you're looking for a charming place to stay in Santiago, this one has been nicely restored and has a really cool old-style (and functional!) elevator - the kind you have to pull folding doors to open and close! The bed linens were very clean and sanitary. "

"This is a beautiful historic property that’s rich in character. Staff was very helpful. Really convenient to major tourist sites but doesn’t feel “touristy”. There are small convenience store, cafe, fruit stand, etc right across the street. Great experience staying at Hotel Casa Zañartu! "

"Great service with friendly staff. Central location in the old part of the city with some good restaurants and cafes in nearby streets. My only criticism was the floors were really creaky and the room was cool even with the split aircon turned to heat. The breakfast room was also cool and dark in the mornings."

"Just as almost everybody else has said, the neighborhood isn’t nice. There is a bohemian neighborhood a short seven minute walk. A certain name change to Le Meridien, they still have a lot to do to bring this hotel up to Marriott standards. "
