"Lovely grand property awaits you when you drive in. We had a garden room in a newer part of the hotel. It's fair yo say it could do with a bit of facelift but nevertheless the room was clean, the bed very comfortable and extremely quiet. Buffet breakfast is very good - a huge choice for all including vegans. We tried the spa/pool which was really nice too! "

The receptionist ensured me that I could get the same selection of food at the bar since the restaurant was closing. Two selections were shot down immediately. "Good sized room with comfy bed and large bathroom and quiet. Initial impression of the room was good, but did then notice that it could do with an update. Bottles of water in the room was a nice touch. Negatives were the step up into the bathroom and not having privacy glass in our bathroom, although there was in our daughters room, there was a blind to pull down. "Lovely stay room in main hotel really comfortable. Room was very clean, and bathroom delightful with a bath. Bed very comfortable. Nice products in the bathroom, fan, iron and hair dryer in the room. Very pleasant stay. Staff are lovely and nice easy check in and out. Would highly recommend to eat there too, was really delicious in the evening Have not sampled breakfast due to early morning but would if staying longer. Parking is very close behind hotel easy to walk to. "
