"We loved our stay at Ashburn House! The B&B is lovely inside and out, with tasteful and lovingly executed finishings, and really beautiful gardens. The bed was VERY comfortable and the breakfasts were wonderful. The best pastries and fresh fruit I have had in a long time and a terrific coffee maker ;-). The location is also perfect; easy walking to downtown but a few blocks way so you don’t get the crowd noise. The proprietor is so warm and friendly, we felt like we were visiting friends. ...

"One of the best Bed and Breakfast places we’ve ever stayed in. The house is located right by the water, a charming manor that’s well maintained. The staff working here are all very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and well stocked with amenities. The breakfast offers some good options including fresh fruits and Greek yogurt. They also offer laundry service which we took an advantage of. It was very nice to see the folded warm laundry delivered into our room after a day of mountain...

"Hillview is an excellent guest house along the road leading to Fort William. The room was fine and recently decorated. It is modern and very clean. The bathroom has every thing you need and it is clean and fresh. You can park your car right outside the house, The views over Loch Linnhe are magnificent. It is very easy to drive to Fort William (about 4 minutes) Breakfast is vey nice (not a fry up which was most welcome!) The owners are very friendly and helpful."

"The guest house has a brilliant view. 10 minutes walk from Neptune staircase . The owners were great and welcoming. Breakfast was great and as my wife is gluten intolerant, this was no problem, as the owners went above and beyond to get her gluten free sausages. Over all would highl rate this Guesthouse as one to book, if staying in Fort William "

"For a 4 star hotel this was appalling. During our 3 night stay we didn’t see one member of hotel staff. No reception (self checkin & out) room was dirty I had to clean the toilet when we arrived and the cups but there was no one to tell. Rang reception several times no one picks up. Went down whole area in darkness. You would have thought the hotel was closed. Dinning room closed breakfast in attached bistro, thank goodness this was lovely. "
