"The staff were very friendly and helpful, the receptionist had booked guests in a million times and was very efficient. The young waitress who served me was originally from Kent and l recognised her accent from coming from where l used to live. My room 101 was a nice location, full view of the Scotch Corner roundabout and could see the snow and when it was clear so l could get on my way to continue my journey to Scotland. It really is in a fantastic location. Breakfast was good the chef made the best porridge in the North East so he tells me. "

"Excellent stay in one of the large rooms. Very convenient to be able to walk into Harrogate. Parking very easy and cheap right next door to the hotel. Would definitely stay again. "
