"Great hotel, my room was small, but the hotel is in the center of town and that worked for me.
The waiting staff were great and helpful and stopped for chats as I was travelling/eating on my own."
"This hotel needs modernisation. I would not have been happy to be here on a very hot day.
It is not very accessible. As I have arthritis I found accessing the first floor quite difficult.

"Attending a wedding there. Stayed there for 3 days. Room was clean. Staff were excellent. Good breakfast unfortunately, the room had no air conditioning being downstairs. You had to be careful about leaving the window open, would we stay there again? Yes"

"Disappointed to see that there’s no lights for the footpath or any signs to tell you where to go.
We arrived a bit late and we had to go three separate ways to eventually find the pod.
It was pitch black and the footpath could use with some cheap solar lights.
Also the shower didn’t had much pressure and inside the cabin was an old smell - probably not really well ventilated.
Overall it was ok but I wouldn’t book again."
"Beautiful setting, full of character. Wonderfully welcoming and helpful staff. Quiet and peaceful. Excellent breakfast! The regular menu is also excellent. A nice respite in a busy world!"
"The staff were friendly, fun and efficient. A disabled parking space was close by for my husband and the ground floor bedroom exceptionally well accommodated and comfortable along with a wet room!
The bar was fun, friendly and busy with excellent menu, great service and atmosphere.
A local group of friends informally got together with instruments and voices. Much enjoyed.

"David is a saint! It was like staying with family if family isn't overbearing or meddlesome. And it's a super comfy bed.
The location is about 10-15 minute walk into town center or the entrance to the Chalice Well or footpath up the Tor.
I'd stay here again in a heartbeat."
"Beautiful grounds, excellent staff but room fell short of expectations - no air conditioning, bath/shower difficult to get into, no shower caps, no toilet brush, flush difficult to use, waste bin not emptied - maybe all OK when built (2005?) but at the price charged we hoped for better. Cooked breakfast was good - they know how to poach an egg - but fruit juices at best were supermarket quality, limited fruit on offer (melon, pineapple and maybe blackcurrant) and same both days were there."
"The room was spectacular, but the breakfast - absolutely delicious! Only a 10 minute drive to the main town of Glastonbury. This gem is a lovely place to stay."
