"Really old hotel. Overall condition of the room seems like a 3 star hotel. Breakfast buffet sucks unless you don’t know good asian food. Nice staff. Convenient laundry service."

"The room was literally spotless! Self check in was very cool and convenient! It’s only one block away from a very busy night market with A LOT of food choices! Will definitely come back again! "

"We like the service and room and children play area, but we didnt like the toilet in our bathroom. It didn't completely flush and left urine and fecal matter behind. We had to flush so many times to get the toilet water to look "clean." The towels and bedsheets also seem kind of old, but everything else was good, and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast."

"We were in a room on the top floor that can fit 4 people (but we only have 2). The room has plenty of space and face the lake. The location is great facing the lake. The beds are comfortable and the room is clean. I would recommend this hotel for those who want to stay on this side of the lake. "

"This Onsen Hotel is absolutely stunning. Our stay was amazing as my wife and I had a very relaxing time during our stay as we took advantage of the common area on-site amazing onsen baths and swimming pool. The Breakfast buffet was very tasty as-well giving you a plethora of options."

"Staff are helpful and polite. Stayed in room with lake view and it was quiet and peaceful (on Friday night). Breakfast variety is plenty too. Hotel provided complimentary fireflies watching as it happened to be fireflies mating season. It’s just a short walk to get public bus to Taichung HSR station and catching ferry at pier. There’s free 2 hours bicycle rental. If you are there on non peak season, they can allow u to use it for a couple hours. "

"I’m glad I listened to most of the reviews for this place. We came for the sheep farm, but in the end this manor made the stay worth the scary drive from Hualien. From the beginning, they made us feel like special guests. The valet driver understood my hesitation to park my rental car in these small tight spaces and asked if he can take over and then he parked the car with so much ease.
