"The valet staff were not the best. They were so unhelpful. On the morning that we were leavign there were 5 of them gathered non of them offered help to put my luggages in the car after one of them brough the car to us. He parked it quite far from us even though there were available parking spots. Very inconvenient for a valet parking "

"The hotel is great. Food was great. Views were amazing, pool area fun for adults and kids, loved the bar😉. So close to petco park that’s my favorite part. Walking distance to gaslamp. If I absolutely had to mention a negative during this stay would be the road construction 🚧 right outside making it a little confusing but the hotel itself AMAZING! SPECTACULAR! BREATHTAKING! "

"The property overall looks very nice. The lobby and rooms have a nice modern look and feel. Everything in the room looked nice and clean. There were noticeable damages to the tiles on the floor but everything appeared to be clean. Two things I felt were not good; One was the noise. The walls are very thin. I could literally hear the people next to us talking loudly. And I’m not sure if they were just talking normally but it was very clear and audible in our room. Also because of the thin walls,...

"Best hotel I’ve stayed in San Diego so far. Very clean! The stafff are really nice and helpful. Very antique cute hotel. Gas lamp are is a street over. The breakfast is delicious, so many cute little spots inside the hotel. The rooftop bar was my favorite. The rooms are a bit small but when I go out of town I don’t spend much time in the room so for me that was not an issue. "

"Since it was fathers day and my husband absolutely loves the beach and convenience of the Hotel Del, we decided to surprise him and give it another try and are so glad we did. Our previous experience left us not wanting to come back. We stayed two nights in The Views, King Ocean View room that included access to the Ocean Club. We had such a wonderful time this time around, and all the staff were just amazing. We look forward to our next stay. "
