"Excellent location right in the middle of everything. We got the balcony room which was worth it for the direct view of the castle up on the hill. Parking was challenging b/c we were given a small SUV and really could have used the compact we wanted, but I managed and was helped by staff to find a spot the one time I couldn't. Desk and bar staff were wonderful and breakfast was really pretty good for a buffet. "

We were celebrating our anniversary on this trip and the staff were kind enough to offer us breakfast included as a treat - it was a lovely spread and really helped not having to find breakfast before our early morning travels. "Excellent hotel that I stay during each visit to Slovenia. Clean and spacious rooms. Nice restaurant and breakfast. Just one remark - cold water in spa center pool. In past this was nice hot jakuzi, but now it’s cold. I’ll not use it next time. "

Breakfast was good and with fair amount of varieties. The only downside is the hotel condition which is rather old and needs some tender loving care."

"The staff was friendly and helpful, in particular navigating transfers into and from the pedestrian only zone. Our room on the 4th floor was spacious, very well decorated with large beams and window nooks--but also clean and modern. Thoughtful details are present like a coat rack for the room. The breakfast was stellar with tasty and non-generic items. The location is excellent, just off the Cobbler's Bridge, yet separated by a quarter-block, keeping it a little more quiet."

"Great location for exploring the city - everywhere is walkable from the hotel. Hotel has a lovely modern and friendly boutique feel. Staff all very accommodating. Great breakfast included with lots of options and large portions. Only thing visitors may want to consider is our bathroom had a transparent glass wall and door which may not be suitable for all people sharing a room! Not sure if all rooms have this feature. "

"Very lovely apartment. It is very clean and comfortable. The location is great. The only hiccups was the “check-in system” was not working properly when we were doing the check in after the working hours. However, we managed to seek help from this bar at the lobby. The staff of the bar were very helpful! In a word, it was a pleasant stay and I would definitely recommend it. "

"It was clean & quiet, the view from the window was beautiful. Don’t use google maps to find it or it will take you to the wrong place. I used Apple Maps with no problem. Breakfast in the morning was a nice bonus. The bathroom could use a toilet paper holder, towel rack, soap dish & shower shelf to hold personal items, & washcloths. I would like to suggest pictures on the wall to give a more cozy feel. The room is confusing to find (it appears to be conference rooms converted to hotel rooms). It...

"We chose this location because it was easy access to the city by car. Room size was generous, and clean. Hotel and restaurant owned by a family. Breakfast was good, included eggs to order. Restaurant across the street serves typical Slovenian fare - great portions and price. "
