"This is a nice hotel with clean rooms, pleasant staff, an excellent location and very good breakfasts. We had room 301, a ‘privilege’ room. They said it was one of their best (don’t they always!). It had a vast lovely bathroom with marble tiles and a walk-in shower. The bedroom was a bit small although looking at the hotel plan many were a lot smaller. We could have done with a king size bed. "The service was excellent and the hotel is located just on the edge of the touristy part of Lille and in walking distance from everything including the two trainstations. It's quiet and convenient. Again the service splendid. But the hotel is showing age, and the price for the rooms was really outrageous given that they are not much above one could get in a well run hotel ibis. The breakfast buffet was meh. You are better off going to one of the many cute little places in the area."
